Hi, I’m Sean, owner and operator of Lamontagne Landscaping & Tree Service. I was born a climber and would often climb out of my crib when I was younger. I love the outdoors. At about 3-4 years old, I helped my dad paint a fence. From there, I cut the grass. My first word was actually “lawnmower.” By 8 years old, I was trimming hedges on a ladder. After that, I started climbing trees.

Professionally, I started landscaping at the age of 20 in Dennis, Cape Cod. I have worked at some of the nicest properties in that area, including the President of the Boston Red Sox. I was inspired by an arborist who would go by and trim trees and thought, “I want to do this”. I started Lamontagne Landscaping & Tree Service in 2018. 

Since then, Lamontagne Landscaping & Tree Service has continued to grow yearly. I believe that my work speaks for itself. A majority of my clients are from word-of-mouth referrals.

I also strive to help out in the community whenever I can. On three occasions, I’ve saved cats from trees, one of which was during a snow storm. I assisted The Dartmouth Fire Department in rescuing another cat when their ladder truck wouldn’t fit on a property.

I am an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist. A certified arborist is an individual trained in the art and science of planting and maintaining trees. To obtain the ISA certification, one must pass an arboriculture exam or hold a related degree, have a minimum of three years of full-time experience, and follow a code of ethics.
